La Femme - Capitol Hill, Seattle

I had the pleasure of meeting Adeleine, La Femme herself, during her first visit to Seattle this past week. She was every bit as stylish and lovely in-person as she comes across in her blog.

Peace Industry - Hayes Valley, San Francisco

Dodd Raissnia, the distinguished-looking co-owner of Peace Industry. If you're ever in Hayes Valley, I'd recommend checking out this shop to see some gorgeous felt-wool rugs.
I had a lovely time in San Francisco - many thanks to David Silver's Media Literacy class at USF for inviting me to speak!

Naka Meguro, Tokyo

I saw him as I was leaving the Naka Meguro subway station. He has exactly the sort of style that made Naka Meguro the most laidback-cool place I saw of all three cities. It's a quiet neighborhood not far from Shibuya built along a canal with a bunch of beautiful shops and restaurants. It's where I'd want to live if I lived in Tokyo.

Pine Street - Capitol Hill, Seattle

Natasha Lady Krishna in a fabulous hat I spotted from a block away. She's the lead singer in local band Lady Krishna's Peppermint Lounge.

Shibuya, Tokyo

Three guys who know exactly what they're doing when it comes to personal style. Collectively, they epitomize my experience of walking around Shibuya, which was the best neighborhood for street fashion I've seen in any city I've visited so far. It's also only one of three photos I took while I was in Tokyo for five days. There's something so ingrained about the forwardness of fashion there, it felt weird to make it literal by asking for photos.
I found these guys outside Ragtag, which is a chain of secondhand clothing stores with an impressive stock of pre-owned Yohji, Prada, Chloe, and Marni, amongst many other high-end labels.
